How to get the HIT-Kit

 

Please note: Universities, Academic and Educational Institutions are kindly asked to contact our longtime partners CMP, EUROPRACTICE, Fraunhofer IIS or MOSIS, who are taking care of our MPW and low volume customers worldwide.

  • Sign a Confidentiality Agreement (1)

  • Sign a HIT-Kit License Agreement (2)

  • Return completed documents as scanned PDF to hitkit@austriamicrosystems.com

  • Complete the HIT-Kit Request Form (3) and fax it to Design Support Group / Austria, Fax: +43 3136 500-5755.
    (Alternatively you can also send a PDF to hitkit@austriamicrosystems.com)

  • For obtaining the Mixed-Signal HIT-Kit which is usually subject to license fee (4) please contact your local austriamicrosystems sales office (location details). 

  • After receipt and countersignature of the signed documents (and activation of the requested technology keys) the HIT-Kits can be downloaded by authorized and registered users directly from our Download Area (5)

 

How to install your HIT-Kit

(1)
Confidentiality Agreement 		New customers need to sign a Confidentiality Agreement with austriamicrosystems AG. A mutual confidentiality agreement contains all terms and conditions to keep all disclosed information strictly confidential. The Confidentiality Agreement is available through your local austriamicrosystems sales office (location details).

HIT-Kit License Agreement		 The HIT-Kit License Agreement contains all terms and conditions of a non-exclusive and non-transferable right and license to use the HIT-Kit (High Performance Interface Tool-Kit) with all its included software programs and libraries. HIT-Kit Request Form		 The HIT-Kit Request Form is your formal HIT-Kit order. Please specify the required HIT-Kit(s) for the relevant software product as well as the requested technologies - this information is important for activation of the technology keys in our database.

You may either fax the filled in form to Design Support Group / Austria, Fax: +43 3136 500-5755 or mail it as PDF to hitkit@austriamicrosystems.com

License Fee		 The Digital HIT-Kit is provided free of charge. As defined in the HIT-Kit License Agreement (attachment "B"), the Mixed-Signal HIT-Kit is subject to a license fee. This one-time license fee includes all technologies and all future updates.

 

Please note:
Universities, Academic and Educational Institutions may also get the Mixed-Signal HIT-Kit  free of charge!
(if there is a signed HIT-Kit License Agreement (2) in place).

 
(5)
HIT-Kit Download		 The HIT-Kit data can be downloaded by registered and authorized users from our Download Area only after:
  • Receipt (and countersignature) of the signed Confidentiality Agreement and HIT-Kit License Agreement
  • Receipt of the HIT-Kit Request Form
  • Activation of the HIT-Kit download key in our customer database.

HIT-Kit License		 Please note that the HIT-Kit license is necessary for installation and running the HIT-Kit and can be generated by registered and authorized users only after:
  • Activation of the requested technology and tool keys in our database according to the information included in the HIT-Kit Request Form.
