austriamicrosystems supports entire chip design flow for foundry customers on linux operating systems. The Cadence Mixed-Signal HIT-Kit v3.60 for the technologies
is now ready to be dispatched! The new version has been qualified for Cadence IC 5.0.33 and includes the high performance 0.35µm process technologies C35 (CMOS) and S35 (SiGe-BiCMOS) and the 0.8µm process technologies CXQ (CMOS), CXZ (CMOS-HV) and BYQ (BiCMOS), updated verification rule files for Assura, Calibre and Diva and new devices. To meet our customers demands also in terms of flexibility, the HIT-Kit supports, beside Linux, also Sun Solaris and HP-UX operating systems. For more detailed information please refer to the related HIT-Kit Release Notes. To install the HIT-Kit CD-ROM and to use all the HIT-Kit features a license file (FlexLM) is required. The license file can be easily generated on our web server at http://asic.austriamicrosystems.com. Interested in using a state-of-the-art RF Design Environment? The new version of the Agilent ADS Design Kit is now available for foundry customers! This new version v3.60 has been qualified for Agilent ADS v2003C and includes the 0.35µm technologies C35 (CMOS) and S35 (SiGe-BiCMOS) as well as the 0.8µm technology BYQ (BiCMOS). As already known from the previous releases, we fully support the extended Cadence/Agilent RF design environment. The new version of the ADS design kit can be downloaded from our web server at: The license file (FlexLM) required for the installation of the ADS Design
Kit may be generated on our web
server.

Did you know that there is a technology check included in our HIT-Kit? During the startup of the Cadence HIT-Kit v3.60 a new pop-up window appears, asking you to specify the exact technology option used in your current project. Specifying the exact technology option enables a process option specific DRC and LVS check within Assura.
The exact process options available for the various technologies are described in detail in the related design documents (available on our web server). Process option specific DRC and LVS runsets are currently available for the 0.35µm technologies C35 and S35. >> back to top |

Updated Datasheets: The power values available in the 0.35µm datasheets have been recalculated. The updated datasheets for the digital standard cells included in the 0.35µm libraries CORELIB, CORELIB_3B, IOLIB and IOLIB_V5 are available in section Libraries and Datasheets.
EOL-Products: Purchase orders for EOL (end of life) products fabricated in our 4 inch fab have to be issued until end of June 2004! After you have received a quotation for production please send your official purchase order to austriamcrosysterms Customer Service Dept. In addition please note that the technologies 0.8µm CMOS (CYB/CYE) and 0.8µm SiGe (BYR/BYS) are no longer available for production.
