Setup for Mentor HIT-Kit
austriamicrosystems Setup
Having
installed an austriamicrosystems HIT-Kit correctly (see Mentor HIT-Kit installation guide) there's still something
left before
you can start the Mentor ICstudio environment with the austriamicrosystems specific
technology setup, libraries and userware.
NCF File
To be able to do netlisting using the Mentor ICnet netlister a so called NCF (Netlist Constraint Format) file is required. An NCF file for austriamicrosystems devices and standard cells can be found at:
$AMS_DIR/mentor/as_global.ncf
Set the Mentor environment variable NCF_GLOBAL to this NCF file.
setenv NCF_GLOBAL $AMS_DIR/mentor/as_global.ncf

ICstudio Startup Script
Now you can use the following script to start the Mentor ICstudio environment with specific data for austriamicrosystems processes.
- ams_icstudio (startup script for ICstudio)
