High Voltage Universal Protection Cell

 

Functional Description

UA40 is a universal pad cell for positive and negative input signals. It uses an open base pnp-substrate transistor structure having base-collector and base-emitter breakdown voltages beyond the signal range. It provides the protection to VSSA (P-Substrate).

Comments:
The gate potentials within internal circuits must be limited according to the TIPs document.
